Executive Board

At the end of each semester, the members of AWSM@Boston University vote to elect the executive board for the next term. 

President

Meredith Perri is a senior in the College of Communication working toward a major in journalism and a minor in history. During her time at BU, the New York native has worked as the sports editor of The Daily Free Press and served as president of BU's Society of Professional Journalists. Meredith has interned with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League, SportsNet New York/MetsBlog.com, the Neighborhood Network News and She's Game Sports. Her goal is to work as a beat reporter covering a professional baseball team. 

Vice President

Katarina Luketich is a senior in the College of Communication studying Broadcast Journalism. She is the Executive Producer of Offsides, a show focusing on professional and collegiate sports on BUTV10. She has also been an intern in the sports department at WHDH-TV Channel 7 in Boston since January 2013. Originally from New Jersey, her favorite sport is hockey, she loves the beach and the color yellow.

Sarah Kirkpatrick is a sophomore in the College of Communication studying print journalism. She serves as sports editor of The Daily Free Press, covering several BU teams including women’s hockey. The Washington native loves coffee, shoes and all things Seattle sports. She hopes to write about professional baseball or basketball someday.

Maggie Dunn is a junior in the College of Communication pursuing a major in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration. She was recently promoted to Executive Producer for BUTV10's The Wire, a morning news show. Maggie primarily reports on BU sports. As an intern for Athletes 4 Autism, Maggie works with the social media accounts to increase awareness as well as promote events. On the side, she is an avid basketball fan and follows the Boston Celtics. She hopes to one day work with the organization.
